i'm currently working on a project truck. its being bagged and body dropped It's a 2002 ford ranger. I need to know what backspacing was needed to clear the fenders in the rear and what backspacing was used in the front. I want to do 22's in the rear and 20's in the front. any help would be great. thanks

hey jimmy
Thats what im trying to figure out. i'm really not sure. i would like to get a nice dish on the back and still tuck. I would assume most 22's are 9-10" wide. i guess my ? should of been on a 2002 ranger, fleet side. How much distance do you have from the outer edge of the drum brake to the edge of the fender.. so i can figure the back spacing on any wheel.
Mainly i was fishing to see what people are using and what's working well and go with a common setup.
thanks man.

if you're going all out, why not just buy some 22x10's with a 6 or so inch lip and then have the rear-end narrowed to work?

I am on RPS as well. Though street source would be a better site to ask. lol I've seen jimmy around on there alot. My name is Emertxe_ranger.. hit me up. narroring the rear isn't a bad idea, than i could use a explorers for disc brakes.. any one know of a good shop close to savannah GA to get it narrowed??
