Cruse Control

Hey...any of you lug nuts know how to trouble shoot a cruse control on a 86 454 crewcab? Mine doesnt work, the fues is good and thats as far as I go. Any help would be great.
Also any help or ideas on installing a subrban fule tank would be helpfull as well.

I was so confused for a minute!

I saved the tank for my burb for just such a swap. If you want a bolt in deal you will need the burb crossmembers. But it shouldn't take much fab work without them. I wonder if you could Y into the fill and vent hose already on the dually?

Has the cruse ever worked? The cruse on my '86 is tempermental sometimes. Iv had it not work for weeks at a time! Sometimes it will shut itself off too. What I have found is that it will work again if it is set at the last speed that its was turned off at. It doesnt make any sense to me but it works. Hope that helps

No, its never worked as long as Ive owned it...I wasnt sure if there was a trouble shooting test or maybe theres a elec amp draw if it works or.....I do have a vac gage in the truck I wounder if that mite be the problume
