im currently thinking of building a mini dually. like a 01+ dakota crew cab long bed dually with a 4bt cummins in it. but im going to run s10 suspension since its so easy to lay out that suspension. my question is im wanting to run 6 22's, i want real adapters not some rigged adapters. is it possible to have a 5x4and3/4 lug centric pattern to a 10 lug hub centric adapter?

thanks

if your goign that far to do a s10 clip y not modify some 1 ton arms?

NO and this is due to several reasons.

First hub bore is an issue. Our smallest adapter has a hub bore of 4.547" and that is almost the same size as your bolt pattern. This will not allow your adapters to self center themselves on the hub.
Second is the most important. Having a 5 lug pattern holding the weight of the wheels, adapters, and the truck causes the lug studs to sheer off at the lug nuts. This is due to the suspended weight hanging over the studs.
Third is cost. If I were to build a set of these adapters it would be a one off set and run somewhere in the neighborhood of 1300-1700. This is only due to the cost of the solid material and machine time that would have to be performed.

What I would suggest is to use the stock 1 ton suspension like Keith said and modify the length and mounting points. Or you could also modify the stock S10 spindles to accept the 1 ton hub and rotor. This route would also require some type of bracket to mount your calipers too if you use the S10 or the 1 ton.
In the rear, I would just find an old P30 Chevy box rearend and narrow it to fit the width you need and run some Moser axles.

that makes sense now. i never thought of the sheer strength of the stock lugs. i guess i can just build a complete frame from front to back and make control arms that would accept a balljoint for a 1 ton spindle. thanks for the help. thought i would ask before tryed to go forward with it.

remeber that s10 "dually" that has the 22's? so the way he has his set up is dangerous? just curious because it was for sale and i thought about just buying it.

Hey Trevor I got a differant question for you..... Can a tire be changed on a 22.5 milled semi with an adaptor still bolted on or should I take the adaptor off before having a new tire mounted on? Thanks Buddy

Raymonodsage, You can leave the adapter on it if you want. Just makes it a bit heavier thats all. And also be sure to have the tire machine outside clamp the wheels, so it will not scratch the inner lips.

And he's just worried about scratching them...poor guy...

Could be like that minitruckin' mag semi wheel guy and blow them completely out!
