OK, so I've got a 14 bolt 10.5" full floater in a single wheel 1 ton, what's different about it vs. one from a dually? Is it just wheel stud length? They seem to have the exact same housing width, and brakes/drums.

Thanks!

Yes the FF14 bolt came in four different widths.
SRW 67.5" WMS
DRW 72" WMS
C&C 63.5" WMS
Van 70" WMS

The SRW and C&C axles have the same axle shaft length, while the DRW are longer, and Van longer still. All hubs on any Full Floating 14 are interchangeable. The DRW and C&C share the same hubs while SRW and Van Hubs are both different. You can mix and match hubs to get the WMS you are looking for. i.e. put DRW hubs on a SRW axle and you have made your self a C&C axle. Clear as mud?
This is Pirate4x4s 14 bolt Bible. Lots of info. easiest axle I have ever put gears in.

Cool, thanks. Yeah after pig mentioned Pirate4x4 I went over there and found the 14 bolt bible, looks pretty useful.

Well fuggit...I was hoping I could use this SRW rear as a DRW without having to change much, but wutever. I've got a nice late model ('99 shitbox) SRW 14 bolt here with 4.10's and a G80 if anybody needs. Make yourself a C&C out of it.
