hey all. I am looking at doing a IFS along with a complete chassis. The rest i have figured out because i am running a heidts IRS. The front is where I am gonna need some help. I am going to run a set of mustang 2 control arms, along with a set of wilwood pro 2" spindle, and a wilwood front brake kit. Also there will be a flaming river rack as well. Now its just the placement of the control arms, and spindle center is what i need help with. The placement is obvioulsy somewhat critical. I want the motor as far back as i can, and as low. I will be running 22's on a BD colorado. i just dont want mad camber if the control arms are placed imporoperly. let me know any info on past experiences.

The mustang front won't get near enough lift to clear 22s, their mostly used for small travel suspension.
i know alot of people wont agree with me but if mustang II is setup properly it can get plenty of lift
Don't take this wrong, but I would truely like to see a Mustang II front end that...
1. Has the right size bag for the job
2. Gets more than 6" of lift
Troy- If you have pics, please post them. I have spent many hours on the Mustang II front end and cannot see how it's possible.
ill get some pics of it inflated i get an easy 8-10 inches of lift running a 2500 firestone the frame is for a mazda b series
that dosnt look like a mustang 2 front end..i thought they came with smaller arms
thats mustang II control arms and spindals from speedway motors
i'm using a mustang II on my 48 F-1 and it will lay the front on the ground, then raise the front up to 7 or 8 inches off the ground. So if its done right you can get good travel out of it.
there's really not a whole lot of camber change on mine, granted i don't the control arms set i just have them bolted on. i have some pics in my profile. take a look.
Well maybe the systems that I have used were limited by their width cause those arms look considerably longer than that ones I used.
Troy- yours looks like it has bump steer issues, does it toe in and out when the suspension cycles?
