WHAT BAGS WILL LIFT A CUMMINS?

I put slam specialties RE-7's on the front of my 06 megacab dually and in order to get it up to ride height I have to put 130psi in the front bags. Is this too much air pressure or will this be ok?

If you can get an re 8 in there it looks like you can run almost 40-50psi less. How much lift is it at 130psi?

Here is the load and height at certain psi

ive got re7's in my truck. 150 psi is enough to clear a soda can, like 6 / 7 inches lift, and 120 to 130 is good for crusing. i got a 454 in mine though.

i have re8 in mine and i have a 454 also, and i get like 9 inches of lift on mine at full lift and use about 110 for ride height

how the hell did you get an re8 in there? i thought i had to take a huge chunk out of the frame to get one of the re7's in there.

Also if you can move the bag out it won't take as much pressure to lift but you will lose total lift.

Like everyone said you will be much happier if you can get the 8s to fit, but remember the cummins motor alone weighs 1200+ Lbs. so pressures may still be different than a BB truck.

ya wasn't thinking of the weight might want to step up to a higher psi bag for lift
