Lower control arms

I have a 91 dakota. i bought uppers for it to give me some more camber to clear the tires and had to end up shortening them more to give the clearance i needed. Now the camber needs to be fixed. If i buy drop lowers are they going to be shorter then my factory ones and fix camber or do i need to shorten my factory lowers? the reason i ask is i don't want to buy lowers if i am going to have to just shorten them to. thanks.
