i really need help!

i have a 1980 chevy with automatic trans. and i have the 3" vdo gauge (electric) instead of manuel. i bought the speed sender from jegs but i dont know where to put the three wires on the back of the gauge. there is 6 spots where i can hook them up. if any body cam help give me some info and it will be very appreciative. thanks guys.
