help me please!

i have a 1980 chevy 6 cylinder and it wont start. it has plenty of volts, and the headlights and trunsidnals and hazzards work but when i turn it over its like i have no connection to my battery but its fine. i dont know what happened i dropped my column and bolted it back in place and now it wont start. if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.thanks

oh no my bad it an automatic.

sounds like an ignition wire/ground problem, from the switch. or problem with switch.

funny you say this because I did the same thing about a couple months ago when I was doing some wiring stuff. I dropped my column and when I put it back together I had forgot to plug harness back in.
