trailer question

so was looking into buyin a trailer and everyone is saying our trucks need the 10k trailers does this sound right?? or can i get away with a 7ki trailer

my truck weighs 6800 empty
my 12gvw trailer weighs 2200

what is the weight of the truck and trailer together?

a 7kgvw trailer might be pushing it but whats the worst thing that could happen?

yea jsut went and priced one out 3 gs for a wood deck or 4 gs for a all steel but the place has no financiing so i am screwed LOL.. plus i found out our trucks bout 167 wheelbase so im good.... anyone wanna bring me my truck from trevors?
