narrowing the rear frame

my ? is that i need to narrow my rear frame for 20's what the best way to do that if im doing a rear half frame only and making it strong can some one please help please

if your doing a rear half frame only, then just make that part as wide as you need it, and go with a 2"x3" 3/16" wall. Then attach that to your stock frame at the rear wall of the cab. You can also make the notch or step right into the frame for a cleaner look than a stock frame thats notched.
