stereo sponorships

anybody have the lowdown on any stereo/ video sponors in the s. ga./n. fl. area? that stuff is so expensive, for anything good, and i was wondering if there was annything good about sponorships? thanks

Lots of work. You probably will not pick one up, without something to bring to the table.
My friend picked up a Sony sponsorship( Sony seems to be a curse word with mobile electronics....bit his systems have been nice ), but he had done a lot of competing beforehand and put a lot of time into his car as well. He also laid out a detailed proposal.....taking 3rd place novice in his power class at the USACI finals didn't hurt either.
He still has to put in a lot of time and personal expense, but has been helped out in the product department as well as some of his travel expenses. Whatever most people think, it is usually still a lot of work.

im with KICKER, i wouldnt worry about a location, just a descent proposal should get you what you need, i would say its not what you know its who you know.

I just got one through Addictive Audio, new company. But if I don't like it he said i can just return it but he's positive I will so we'll see.

is it really worth it? They don't literally throw you equipment if you don't have world records or atleast place at finals. At best you get a slight discount along with shit YOU have to do.

not true. kicker delivered like 8 boxes of stuff to my door, all based on my proposal and the other members of my club being on board already.

you got lucky then because i personally know guys that couldnt get anything until they proved themselves. i guess its nice to know people.

out of curiosity what all would a proposal consist of?

type in sponsorship proposals on google and any of the links will tell you what they include, how to write it, when to say what etc. everythjing about the project and a little about yourself, plans for shows, list of shows, what you can give to them etc etc etc.
