tubbing my bed question

i want to tub my bed then get it line x'd. I have my fenders pushed out about 1/2" to tuck the escalades. how would i keep them pushed out if I tubbed the bed? because I would be cutting out the area where the fender supports are mounted to fit the tubs and allow for bigger rims in the future. cant you just use 1/4"x1" or so flat stock and make new supports for the bedsides? thats what ill do on my yota to replace the stockers...

yea, could probably do that, but i won't be able to bring it straight back like stock, i'll have to like route it wider than back or something. I don't know i'll figure it out. Thanks

Couldn't you just tub the fenderwells, then re-flare the bedsides after the fact.

use the tubs as supports to push the fenders out.
