How are these made?

How are these steering wheels made?

I would think out of a thick sheet of acrylic. Then it's CNC routered to the shape you want. I've seen a website that makes one off acrylic wheels somewhere on here. Can't remember where though.

I was thinking of making a mold and using liquid acrylic.

Billet and Acrylic Fantasies does some. But yea, if you can run a normal router you can do one.

there is also a special way to buff those plex wheels...most of the companies that make them probably will not tell you how because that is their business...Acrylic Concepts out of Hollywood Fl. has put more plex steering wheels in vehicles than probably anyone else...954-560-4641 if the number still works
