Reinforced bedsides

Well ive been trying to finish up tubbing my bed on my s-10 and i would like to know how you guys reinforce your bedsides. cause as soon as this weather clears up i plan on finishing it up and throwing it back on. And if you live in North Texas you know how messed up this damn weather has been.
