On my 1979 I want to take the rear drums off for a inspection.
I have way to much brake on the rear, the wheels lock up if I only aply the brakes a little.
I removed the rear wheels and on the hub are some more bolds do I also have to remove them?

Thanks

Yup. That there's what choo call a full floater. Remove those bolts, slide the axles out (sometimes you gotta whack 'em with a singe-jack to get 'em to pop out), then unscrew the rings inside the hub and pull the drums off.

There's two thing these trucks aren't: easy and light.

Oh yeah, your going to need to put something under the end of the axle tube to catch all the gear oil that may or may not pour out.

Or you could just do one side at a time.
