audio help

well im going to be getting a bed cut in my dually. im just wondering what subs to get and the number. i want it to bang hard as ****. but also be able to listin to at a nice volume also. (dvd's, trips, anything not cruising) i have a 2500watt orion class d amp that will be powering the subs mind you this amp is 1 ohm stable. heres the choices ive come up with. 2 15" l7 solobarics. 4 12" l5 solobarics. 4 jl w3 13.5's. 2 jl w6 13.5's. or 1 jl w7 13.5. i love that raw hitting of the squares. but ive always had jl. anyone else have any other brands i should look at? orion, jbl? just trying to get the hardest bang for my buck and i want it to be overwhelming. im running a clarion double din dvd. jl components and a jl 400x4 amp right now and the highs scream.

my friend has 3 jl w3 13.5's running off a jl slash 1000d amp and its pretty brutal. i want to be over that.

man if this was like 3 yrs ago i would be all over this but i have not been in the car audio since we closed dow nthe shop and 3 yrs is alot in changes good luck jl is quality

I have 4 Alpine type R's behind my back seat with the box in the bed. 2 Infinity amps and hits pretty hard. I am doubling it this winter, 8 12's and 4 amps. These subs take a beating and are cheap, IMO they sound as good as anything for the price.

get the jl w7's. one should be good. heard a guy with 4 in a station wagon caprice and it was loud.

don't forget to upgrade your electrical system, I run a smaller pulley on my alternator , my alternator was donated up from an ambulance.(hi-output unit)

jl is all i run, planning on putting (4) 10's behind the rear seat in my R30. had (15) 10's in my suburban and no one around my area could touch it. i was running (1) crossfire cfa1000d on all 15.

i got some six by nines that i cut a hole in a nike box and put them in there and they sound good and dont take up much room

i realy like the JL stuff i had a 10 inch in a small box powered by an alpine amp and it sounded fine you couldnt actually hear it was there untill you turned it off ...... thats the way it suposed to sound in my ears
