I want to know the best basic bag set-up. I need the bag set-up for towing and descent ride without breaking the bank. I want to install it myself or with alittle help from my friends. If you have some pictures to help me with my chose.

I think that would be a good way to go.

just make sure your link bars are beefy enough and that your bag plates are too with good gussets under them.

Thanks for the heads up on that because i wouldn't have known that until it would have been to late.

just seen this thread thought I would ask as well I will be towing a car that weighs about 3500 with a steal open trailer about 2500 but also need to be able to tow campers as I work at a camper dealership they can range anywhere from 2000 to 10000 I would like to use a behind the axle set up and keep as much under the bed as possible any help would be greatly appreciated

I run a modified air ride tech bolt on 4 link kit with bags behind the axle. When I just had spring and spindles on the front it was a perfect set up with a belltech notch. When I bagged the front, I had to go with a bigger notch and modified the bag mounts and went with a triple stack bag. The kit is expensive but you get what you pay for imo. Easy to install with basic tools. Without a bigger notch or laying frame, no cutting into the bed floor either.

I have looked at the airride tech set up for about a year since I decided I was going to bag my truck I just wonder if buying that kit and modifing it would work for me as I want to put 24 rigs on my truck I have done alot of research and finally decided on using townasties with the sixteens on th inside rear my overall diameter on the tire will be like 32 inch. and i am not sure if i would have to modify the kit so much that it would be better to try to make one of my own I know I will have to put a bigger notch in the frame but that is not a big deal I also loked at the aim ( I know they suck ass ) front buckets that let u mount a 3800 up front so it will lift with less pressure and give a better ride does anyone have a opinion on this front kit I have heard that 2600 bags can hardly lift the front of these heavy trucks so I thought 3800's all the way around would be the best I only want to do these once and not end up having to redo it over and over to get it right
