1st off, i am really not sure what i am talking about/what parts are called...sorry
radiator has 2 (i think 2) fitting that connect to it, that i believe are for the tranny cooler...
bought my truck with a hole in the radiator, do i have to go with the same radiator that has the fittings/plugs, or can i go with a different one and hook that stuff different way?
you could get a seperate radiator and run an aftermarket cooler...be easier and cleaner IMO to just get one with the fittings.
You absolutely need a cooler.
i just had to replace mine and i got stock replacment with the cooler line threading.. cheaper that way than trying to rig something up with another cooler...
ime going to be replacing mine soona nd i have found that it is cheaper for me to get an aluminum radiator and a mrooso trans cooler than to replace with the same. but i have tha hookup...holla if you hear me...HULKAMANIA BROTHER!
use the aftermarket cooler ur tranny will thank you..... and IMO go w/ a aluminum radiator AC guy here and ur condensor will thank you as well and in turn ur air will work more effectivly... not a big notice but where im from any improvment is great!!!
