ranger with a toyota front clip

a friend of mine wants to do this swap. what is involved like the steering, and how the ranger core support mounts and should he use a toyota pick-up clip or a tacoma front clip?

keep reading the forums down from this one. There are many articles in here on this swap as well as many rangers with it done already. You will utilize the toyota gear box and steering componets. Weld your shoe horns off your ranger onto the toyota clip. And it would be best to build an entire frame from the fire wall back. And the front clip you need is pre tacoma meaning the old helix toyota pick up like i believe 95 and older or something im sure ill be corrected by someone

84-95 is the choice clip.

There is a Ranger on my profile that has this same thing done. It has been a while, but if I remember correctly, it went really well. No major issues to speak of.
