oh so close today

well fellas i was 2 hrs away from beign a full fledge duallyscene memeber... i found a dually 3 hours away they were taking my 01 accord on trade and i had the check and everythign all set bout 45 minutes into the drive i hear a ka boom and then blue smoke i was like oh damn blew a tire gotta stop incase it shread s so i dont tear up the car... as i am slowing down from 80 and getting from fast lane to shoulder i happened to glance at the cluster and see a lil red oh shit lite, ya my oil pressure lite......... pull off and made sure it was no tires and then open the hood, nothing so a lil baffled i lean under the car and yuppers oil and coolant all on the shoulder .... the lil guy in the motor wanted out nice liltte hole in the back of the block... so now the dually is in a holdign pattern i feel like i jsut got kicked in the nutz repeatedly

i dunno what i am going to do now i ahve to get a motor and spend more money to sel lthe pos i dunno jsut disheartening

call the guy with the dually ask him to wait call the buddy and tell him he owes you a motor preverably today and start ripping the old one out replace it and try again

yea aint that the truth on the no bad luck wouldn't have any luck at all....... ah the buddy wasn't his fault motor had 142xxxmiles on it and 92 of those have been ragged on by me so it was due jsut bad timing

With gas prices the way they are, there's gonna be plenty of opportunity to buy someone's whip on the cheap.

i dunno how mush you would be getting for the accord and how mush an engine from the wreckers would set you back but you could still give it a shot , my neighbour in holland usually swap those engines out in a day / day and a half
