which electric fans? from bone yard?

Want to do away with the fan clutch and run puller fan(s). anybody know what cars/trucks would fit? Reason I ask, is I am planning a trip to a u-pull it yard and wanna make a list before I go and that was one part i was gonna look for, just needed to know what cars/trucks to look for.

I've had very good luck with mid 90's Ford taurus fans. 2 speed, they have a shroud. 2 might come close to completely covering most truck radiators. I have a few aftermarket 16's hanging on the wall and I think the taurus fan blows more air than all of them combined. Way better quality IMHO than any aftermarket fan. How often do people replace the electric fan on their vehicle? Just look around through the car section and find something that you like. You'll see why myself and so many others like the bone yard fans.

ive heared about a caddylac fan that fits exactly in the existing schroud , it was a while ago at another forum .
you could buy them new verry cheap at the dealership too sumtin to do with a factory recal of a certain buildyear to replace a bad batch of those fans .
i cant find the tread so i cant tell for sure if its a caddy one

it seems like i bought a mid 90's grand marquis fan it was a dual set up and put it on my little drag truck that was a driver as well and it pulled like a champ never had a issue w/ it and i got it cheap at a bone yard!!!

anything worth doing is worth doing twice I'd go new but thats just me I like to know I dont have to worry about it
