can all compressors be mounted on there sides? i was going to mount mine on the side of my frame rail but was worried about ruining the comressor or something cause it won't be up right?

i got mine on the side of the fame 380c they run good

the effects of mounting it sideways are probably so small you'd never notice, but there are some things to consider.. like the heat dissipating off the head, maybe abnormal piston ring wear.. also is it a self oiling? that could be a factor maybe if all the oil goes to one spot.. but just such small factors, that probably aren't noticeable for a lifetime anyway lol

ive got 2 viair 460s mounted on my framerails sideways for about a year and a half now with no problems.
