how are you guys dealing with the toyota steering and the oil pan clearance on these trucks? i've heard that the rear sump oil pan will work well but i don't know if it hangs down any farther.
i could move the engine up to clear the steering alltogether but then my crank pulley is pretty much in the core support with no room whatsoever for a radiator under the hood.
i suppose if worse comes to worst i could just move it all the way up, lengthen the driveshaft and put the radiator under the bed.
just curious as to what you guys have done since i've seen a few clipp'd rangers on here with small block engines in them.

im not finished with mine, but as for my steering, I used the dual sump oil pan, and I also modified the drag link like Seth has a sticky on under the toyota truck forums. works fine.

same as above dual sump, some guy on ebay sells conversiond with pan pickup tube and dipstick. also I got a be cool radiator that fits nicely in the core.

move the rad. into the core support some, and maybe move the motor back a lil bit.

I started cutting and when it all fit I welded it up lol.
I also ran a Mustang rack and pinion.
