Noticed today when i have to apply a little more than normal braking pressure my truck pulls hard to the left. Anybody know what causes this. My first guess was right caliper going bad! That would be just great, cause I already gotta do rear brake cylinders!!

Had the same thing happen to my fatherinlaws 97 chevy truck ended up being the brake line was almost stopped up it wasnt letting near enough fluid thru the line, might give that a try. good luck.

that is what it sounds like, could also be the alignment also... but more than likely it is a brake line has collasped on you .. cost about 30 bucks to fix ..

not to sound stupid but which side do u guys think i need to look at? And would it be the line from the caliper up to mc? Isn't that line part rubber?

The right side is where I would start, all we had to replace was the flexable rubber part from the caliper. We bled the brakes and we were good to go,
hope yours is that easy.

Alright, next question....what exactly do i need to b looking for? Hose or line to be flat or??????????

couldnt really tell much from looking at the outside of ours, a local tire shop said that they usually replace the hose first instead of the caliper when they have this problem, we even tried bleeding the brakes again and we were getting what we thought was a good stream of fluid out but i guess it wasnt enough to work properly so we replaced it and it worked for us.

Funny you guys bring this up, cause yesterday I took the chop top dually out for a run and the same thing happened. The front left brakes were damn near on fire by the time figured out what the smell was.
I was driving along smelling brakes and saying, wow...some schmuck needs to do some brake repair (thinking it was the guy in front of me) then I realized the schmuck was me!
I let off the gas and the bitch pulled hard then I was like oh oh...
Lol...think i'll change the lines first as well.

even more funny you brought it up cause it happened to me today.
Jack up the frontend and if the tire still wont spin you do one of 2 things. First crack the bleeder valve and if fluid rockets out your line is pinched and is not allowing the brakes to release and you need a new rubber line. If nothing comes out more than likely your caliper is bad.
