91 fullsize to 98 fullsize dash swap question

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------i searched and didn't see anything so i thought i'd ask, i have a 91 chev c1500 and wanna put a newer style dash in it, 95-98 was is all involved? my biggest concern is the steering colum and the gauge cluster if the wiring harnesses are the same and it all clips in or is there alot of modifications to do. thanks alot for any help!

im not an expert on this or anything but im almost positive that the wires for the cluster are not the same, but i do think that the steering column is the same.
