6.5 diesel??

sup guys.. is it possible to make a 6.5 chevy dually 4 door a 1999 run and sound as fast as the new dura max..or run faster than the 454 gas model???

you can make it run better, but better than the new duramax would be a stretch. you will always get close to double better gas mileage.

I dont believe they are turboed. Just like the pre 92 7.3s

they do come with a turbo

I was thinking about buying the 6.5 turbo but went with the 7.3 ford turbo....no comparison...hands down better...about the same price too...and so many aftermarket companies makning everything for it...

yes the ford are cool but i dont like the body style basicly my favarite is chevy 88-98

then you'll probably have to settle for looks then instead of performance...hardly any aftermarket shit for the 6.5's... bad things tend to happen to them...heavy bastards even for diesels they are heavy...good luck..i'm working on that same bodystyle crew caw dually with the 350 in it. bagged....

right now i have a 94 ext cab with a big blcok but 9 miles per gallons is killing me....... how hard will it be to do a duramax swap with trans and everything on a 4 door dually not on mine b cuz im going to sell the ext cab

my everyday exp. 7.3 anyday of the week just need to take care of it
