single wide 22.5 wheels
anybody have experience with them?....will these wheels work on a dropped dually ? im pretty sure they will but what is stopping people from using them? do they not make a tire wide enough? i think they are 13 inches wide.......i was just wondering about that...
i know guys that are running them on their 4x4's with big tires.
i figured they would work....i should have explained myself...lol....i want to drop my 77 down on the ground......do they make a low profile tire to fit the wide wheel?
you would just have to find a wheel that would fit the width of that wheel,. if it is 13 inches wide you are gonna need a big 330 series style wheel
BFG's make a tire and so does micky thompson. 315-35-20 is the fit real nice
is there any pics of the wheel you are talking about
I pretty sure that they dont make a low pro tire that is wide enough for a super single....
super singles come in different sizes anything under a 22X 14 he could get a tire for
Negative on getting a lo pro tire for a 22 that is wider than 12" unless you have it special made to order.
If you have a wheel that is 12" wide your tire needs to be at least 14" wide for the beads to seat properly.
Only way I know to run super singles on one ton dual and single wheel trucks are with supersingle 22.5 tires or 22" MT or AT tires 14.50 and wider.
ya, 315 is the widest Ive seen for a 22 (on DIMA's truck at TexMex08) and its more of an all-terrain
