Suspension swap Q

I'm going to build my first mini a 620 i've noticed guys swap out to toyota front suspension and rear end, I know I'm going to swap mine out but I'm wondering if an s-10 swap will also work. and also what if any is the difference in rear end width from a yota and a dime
