why not build an old nissan pathfinder, don't see many of those at all. Would take a ton of work since they have struts in the front don't they?

Now that it was brought up an early 90's Pathfinder so you can haul all the boys around.

Joseph Murphy, your D-50 is badass man...It looks great. Kinda hard to tell in the pic but is it body dropped or just bagged? You still running the 6lugs or did you swap it over to a Toyota setup for 5lugs?
I agree the pathfinder would be sweet, but once again that's more than I want to jump into right now. I'm getting ready to move from KY to N. Carolina soon and I dont want something that's gonna be super involved to get on the road. I just want a ride that I can bag & 4link and drive it some while I'm working on it...It wont be my daily driver, but I dont want something that's gonna be in a shop for years while every part under it gets custom fab'd... That's why I was wanting something simple to do..I could care less if it's in primer for years, most of my Nissan's stayed that way forever.
I'd love an old kingcab Mazda, but they are just hard to find at a decent price around here...I dont want to drop $4000 on a early 90's stock truck with 200,000 miles on it..To me that's a $1000 truck. I'm in no huge hurry on this anyway, with getting ready to move to a new state, wife & I starting new jobs there and 3 kids I dont have alot of time for anything these days.

theres a problem if a mazda is $4000 down there, I got mine for $800 with 150,000 km, its an '88

$800, damn that's cheap...Mini trucks have went up in price the past couple years around here..No matter what year or the milage on them, must be inflated gas prices driving them up in the area...Since no one works where they live around here they want stuff easy on gas since their 4x4's suck on mileage....I found an x-cab Mazda with a ford 302 in it, I'm REALLY considering it right now...I like a V8, I could care less about gas mileage in something I'm just playing with...Hell I drive a lifted Jeep Cherokee "listed 4 sale on here in classifieds" and it's re-geared for rock crawling, it sucks the gas down.

Thanks it's a '91 Mighty Max thought I picked up 3 years ago for $900.
It is a 5 lug swap (20x7.5) The truck is stockfloored to the pinch to keep the stock hood and A/C.

I paid 50 bucks for mine because the dumb ass thought it needed a motor and tranny but it just had a blown head gasket so it didn't have any vacuum to make it shift right and ran like shit. Put a head gasket on it and drove it for about a year and then i rebuilt the motor and got my dros on the rear and link and notched added a shit ton of chrome yota front bumper and I still only got about 2300 in it including everything from window tint to wheels and radio. But I'm cheap.

If I could find a Blazer at the right price I'd consider one...Kid I know has a nice '94 Blazer 4door that's already bagged and has a cowl hood, looks like a new one inside and the body is straight overal on it. Only problem is he wants $3500 on it and if I cant sell my JEEP before then that's more than I want to spend...I'm looking for those under $1000 rides right now that still run but are full of cow poo and mud.
