are you talking about like zing it and then shaving the frame rail down to make it lay body? Cause i know my 00 obs tahoe the frame rail kicks down right at the front doors, and you can shave that and z it to make it lay body. Other than that i thought it layed frame just by notching the rear for the axle and the front for the tie rods.

Yeah i know it will lay frame but then the body looks like it is only lowered.I dont want it to lay body just frame but i want it to lay flat frame.I remeber seeing a tech in a mag one time but dont know which one.So all i want to do is weld on a 2x3 or 3x4 box tubing and rienforce it then chop off what hangs below that.but i need to know what size box i need for sure and what to relocate.

do 2x3 box with 3/16" wall. that will be just fine.

lay flat frame bro, dont mask it with side skirts. it shouldnt be too hard if its already bagged. just weld in the box tubing, possibly mod some crossmembers and lop off the bottom of the frame where it hangs.

if it is a 4 door and your talking about the piece of frame that protectes the gas tank you will need to relocate the tank. the cut off the frame level and plate it back in with 1/4" flat bar.

I did what bryan was talking about and I like the way mine sits but I also moved my exhaust cross pipe and modified my trany crossmember.
