I was just curious about what kind of a market there would be for bolt on cab back subframes. A complete bolt on kit that would allow the average wrencher with no fab skills to cab back his/her truck. chop the back of your frame off, slide the new frame in, drill some holes bolt it in, cut the bed, run some lines and be done with it.
With the structural integrity (got some major strength ideas) of the frame out of the question, do you think they would sell?
How about bolt in super c notches to lay 22's? again with out thinking of the strength of it.
using bolts to line it up to weld it on wouldnt be a bad idea. but just using bolts to holdon the rear frame seciont, i dont know about that, but hey what can i say, my rangers stock rear rails are held on my 5 rivets on each side lol.
fa b is in, bolt on is out. no market. IMO
ther WOULD be a market...look what Road Grater kits have done. Personally I see no reason to do "back-halves"...guess i just miss the point. But yeah you build it right, folks will want em.
i see a future of trucks with sagging bed syndrome........

perfect slide in fit and truss-style stringers!
I think....that anyone that knows what a back half is, what its about, and what it gains for the truck.......would be more inclined to A)design and build it themselves or B)pay a little more and have a shop turn out a piece of art to their style.
yeah i have thought of this smae thing, theres too many combos that could be dreamed up. lets say i make an s10 back half that lays 20's. fully done, 4 linked, bagged, shocked, all you have to do is cut yours line it up and bolt it on. sounds great. but what if you want 22's? now your bag moutns are wrong, your shocks are wrong, and your notch is too small.
