i got some more work done on my s-10 ive been doing a bunch of shit to it over the winter heres some pics.
thats all for now ill post more up later...
looking good, i wish i was that far. I freakin started in July and here's where i am now:
i'm taking it to a buddy's house next weekend to get all the hard work done, then i'll just have to tie everything up and put it back together. I like the way you did your dash trim, that's pretty fat.
looks good, all the wires n shit, r u extending the harness there?
ive been doing all this same shit this winter also, bag and BD
im getting tingles now that im approuching the almost can drive it point
nice, drew, i'm still about 2-3 months away from the tingle phase, lol.
sorry, did'nt mean to hijack your thread, mike.
its all good i think i got the tingle stage last night i was doing the pertending to hit switches thing sitting in my truck. dont worry jumbo ull get there i was at that stage i didnt know if i ever would finish it.
looks real good man but i think you need to get some jackstands. Bricks break and kill people.

jackstands will not work where i am (on pretty soft dirt), and if you look behind the concrete block in the pic, i have all 4 tires under the frame, too (only one showing in the pic). The ground slopes down there, so even if it were to fall, well, it'd probably kill me cause the motor weight would make it tip forward. Nevermind, i'll get more jackstands (i have 4 holding up the rear and axle). thanks for the concern.
Mike, how did you get that huge metal piece off the firewall (above the steering column and stuff). Is it spot welded or are there bolts holding it in? Also, where did you come through the firewall with the main wiring harness? I've heard to move it under the brake booster but i have'nt done it yet. If you have any better ideas, i'd sure like to hear them. By the way, i ditched the abs for a proportion valve, and i'm keeping the a/c.
here is how to drop that piece above your wheel.
i hope that helps...
wow, you're my new go to guy, lol. when you drop that big ass bell, do the clutch, brake pedal, etc come with it (is it attached) or are they attached to the firewall somehow? That was the coolest visual for help ever, and it's on your own thread!! You're my new hero, mike. Too bad you live way the hell away or i'd buy you a beer or thirty.
ya the pedals do come out with that big a$$ peice just watch out when your pulling it out that u dont pull any wires with it... and ill put u up to that if iam ever in Arkansas later...
