So I'm working on the truck tonight, replacing the passenger control arms, and i find a 2" scrape in my slam bag. I have RS 72's all around, and i got on suicidedoors.com and they don't have the same part number. Can someone please tell me what size i need to get? the bag that most closely matches what i need is the RE 200 in 5" to 8" sizes. What do i need to match what i had? Please help soon, i've got to get it on a trailer really soon and i don't want to take a chance on blowing my bag (that has'nt had air in it since July of last year) on temp. air.

ok.. well i have a bag thats a lil weather beat i think its an rs 62... not the same but you pay shipping and you can have it if need be...

however before we go that route. is it a deep chunk? or a small less than 1/4 scratch. if its 1/2 deep i wouldnt trust it personally thats me. but ive seen worse last for temp purposes..

the re7 will probably be your closest bet though..

ok, maybe it's not as bad as i thought. I freaked the hell out when i saw it, though, on closer inspection, it looks like it should be fine for the temp air. But i'm still going to get new bags for the front, since i'm replacing everything anyways.

the width of the bellows is what is 7". 62 is 6", 72 is 7", 82 is 8" They changed all the s's in the model numbers to e's. If you have an rs 72 the closest available new match would be an re 72. The new (E) bags have a better rubber compound that make them stronger and they don't get all cracked up and ugly looking. Look out for those xe kevlar lined ones though. Theyre known to bubble.

thanks for the help everybody. It was a pain in the ass cutting the spring pocket to fit those damn 72 (apparently i did'nt do a good enough job, haha) but i think it's worth it. I'm gonna stick with the 7's up front, and put 8's in the back when i get it bodydropped. I really appreciate everyone's input. And i'm psyched to know that i'm not the only night owl on ssm.

One of mine bubbled and eventually burst, but then again I pushed 450 PSI to it (emptied a whole bottle of nitrogen). If you run them within their recommended operating pressure, you shouldn't have to worry about them bubbling.

if the scrape doesn't show any cord you will be fine. the outer layer of rubber is a cover.
