so this is your truck ? built in honor of vets?

i think a sponsorship contract would be cool if for the first couple years after being built, local vets each got to drive it for a week... 104 guys that served all get a week in a show truck

well its actually our companies truck and its gonna be drivin from Vterans conventions, posts, and all the veteran events they have around here. Not sure what we are goin to do with it when we go to get rid of it. Probabley auction it off and donate the money to Fort McCoy, which is a Veterans home, well more like a retire ment home for vets. They dont charge money for what they are doing and they treat the vets really good. Im not seein a bunch of old guys wantin to drive a BD mini haha but it be awesome if some of the guys were down lol.

i think having a contract about selling it for benefit of the home after a year or so of shows would help get you more donations... that's more of a "cause" than just building in honor of a group...

We are gonna try to use the truck for around 2 years and then we want to start on anothere project. I should have probabley made clear first what we are gonna do with the truck heheh. Sorry about that.

Do you have any links to your radio station? web site? I say Write up a paper about what you want to do, and fax it to every company that is involved in the custom auto scene that might get you somewhere, maybee I dont know just a thought?

yea, to get sponsored by a company, youll need to write a proposal. state exactly whats gonna happen with the truck, beginning to end, and dont be surprised if the company says, "well, thats fine, but to get our product, youll also have to attend this, this and this show, if not, the contract is broken."

Thank you to everyone for the input. We are currently putting a letter togethere that has all the information on it as to whats being done and whos doing it. The list will also include everyone that has helped us out with the truck build and so on. As well as project date completion and when and where the truck is going to be auctioned off. Once again thank you everyone for the input... it is much appreciated. We just wanna give a littel something back to the veterans since they have done so much forn us and our counrty. Thank you
