Anyone know of a shop around that could taper my mazda spindle to fit an s10 balljoint. The upper hole needs to be tapered to 10 degrees and no machine shop around here will touch them.

Call Steve @ Can Do Specialties. He does them, call him for a price since I am sure it is not on his site but I am 100% sure he does them because I can remember him telling me about doing some.

you can buy a tapered ream that you can use on a drill press or in a hand drill...although I do recomend getting it done in a milling machine.

wow, mine fit right in there and i have no issues (top control arms) except for needing to add a couple of shims for the crown bolt to seat on.

WOW!i just learned something new.

i guess you'll need a few more shims then, unless you can get a ball joint with a shorter shaft.

everyone thanks for the info. I think im going to buy the reamer and do it myself. It only needs a small amount taken out to fit.
