just make sure its supported enough! you wouldn't want that to have any play at all, or the tracks will get fucked.

i got a suggestion that can still be done.
relocate those taillights to the bottom of the pop up and leave the license plate the way it is and just cut out the empty area above the newly relocated taillights basically making a 1 inch border around the tails and plate box kinda like the silhouette of a top hat.
cool idea never really seen moving taillights.

It wouldnt's seal if it was done like that. Atleast, thats what I think is why he made it all one shape...
With a top hat, you would only have the center sitting flush with the top edge of the gate. It would be like a bowl if it ever rained, on the other two sides holding water and all.

ya it wouldnt seal if i would drop the lights. what were doing is putting a seal on the inside top lip, and everything will be flush on top. so no need for a trap door.

i see what your saying i read it wrong. thats a good thought. think it might be to much extra work now.
