Sorry for the long-winded explanation, but I will try to help with your problem.

The concept with any carb is as follows;

Your fuel pumps only job is to keep the carb fuel bowl(s) full of gas.
On each carb bowl is a needle valve.
On each needle valve is a float.
When the float raises enough (caused by the gas entering the bowl). It will close the needle valve.

No more gas can enter the carb bowl until the existing gas is used enough to allow the float to start to lower and re open the needle valve.

A problem with the needle valve could cause too much gas to flood your engine.

A problem with a bad float (adjusted too low) or not moving correctly due to sludge and sediment in the carb could cause your problem as there is not enough gas in the bowl to keep the carb happy.

OR

Your fuel pump is not getting gas when you corner hard and stop fast. The tank pick up is not staying in the gas.

Good Luck.

or just scrap the crappy stock carb and get a webber, thats what i have done and poof no problems, i went to redline directly on the web and get the kit for like 299 us so, more power and less vacume lines to worry about and looks better to so that might be the way to go because mine did the same thing and you will have to rebuild the stock one alot of times so.. its all up to you though good luck..
