that would require six lug. YOU DO NOT WANT SIX LUG. Trust me, and all the Mazda guys, and all the Nissan guys, and all the..you get the point. I don't know if s-10's have enough room for adapters though.

i dont get it.
guys with 6-lug get eskies b/c nice 6-lug wheels that tuck are crazy expensive. the market is influxed with factory take-offs since noone wants an escalde with tiny 17s anymore...
we spend the $500 on them with a set of lopros and save for nice wheels.
on an s-10, you can buy nice 17s with tires for $500 fairly easy. why would you want to spend $500 on wheels and tires that require another $200-300 to make fit. for $800 you could pick up even nicer wheels. it makes no sense to me at all.

Thats like taking steps backwards isnt it?? I just dont get why you would want to spend that time/money to put 6LUG wheels on a 5LUG truck!

well for one it didnt cost me anything & for two why not...everyone with a mazda & nissan go to 5lug all the time so why cant someone with a s10 do it

maz, nissan, isuzu owners switch to 5 lug b/c there are about 100 times more styles of wheels available for a lot less money as compared to the 6-lug selection.
the 6-lug 18" WHEELS (no tires) I want are $2400. that b/c i HAVE to go with billet wheels to tuck, which is the situation with maz, nissan, isuzu trucks. i would switch to 5 lug, but the only wheels that fit the look im shooting for for my truck are billet, so it wouldnt save me any money to do the switch.
in the end. its YOUR truck, and if its free, then do it. but int he end, you are stuck with 6-lug if you get tired of eskies.

If thats what you want to do and you don't have any worries on the mi-nute selection and high price of rims then go for it, i dont think anybody does it so it would be different to see 6 lugs on an s10....so bottom-line..if thats what you want to do..just do it!!
