THE REASON THEY DON'T WORK HERE IS THE FEQUECY BAN IS WAY DIFFERENT. YOU COULD STILL PLAY CDS AND MP3S...JUST NO RADIO STATIONS WOULD COME IN FOR U....IF YOU GET EUROPEAN STYLE THEY RUN 24 VOLT INSTEAD OF 12

You can get an tape deck looking unit that has a digital readout, that will get AM/FM and play CDs off a CD changer. The volume knob is on the right side.

http://www.nakamichi.com/flash.html I wouldn't look on the site, I would literally call them and ask how to get an over seas part.

http://www.eclipse-web.com/ there is the eclipse stuff, once again, i would call them and ask how to get overseas stuff.

also, you MAY be able to go to a high end dealer and have them order your something.

the frequency range is the same, but generally european and japanese market tuners tune on the half, 102.45 and such. Some world market radios have a switch, but most dont.
