So here is my problem, I have some 19.5 series 58 Eagle Alloys on a 2007 classic chevy dually. I have a stupid 3/16 - 1/4 inch spacer that is on the inside of the inside tire. The reason is because (as I found out after cutting my lugz) the studs are larger at the base and then start with the threads. The lugz will not (obviously) fit ovet the larger base and are limited to 5/16 or so of distance from the base of the stud. I WANT THAT DISTANCE!! I need that inside wheel to fit tight and get that fucking spacer out of there.

So I guess this is where you guys tell me to just swap studs? The problem is that this is a typical design of studs, or is it?? Is there a stud with less of this "base" and more threads coming closer in? Does anyone really understand what the fuck I am saying... I cant use a shorter shanked lug because that is not the problem, it the stud base getting in the way and topping out the lug. I just want to tuck my wheels under my truck, is that to much to ask? Don't get lippy with me campy, I know your ways..

I'm just here to whore...

ok, j/k
I havn't seen what u are talking about, but it sounds like they have a collar to hubsentric the spacer? If thats what the lip is for, you could always just pull out all the studs and have them machined at a machine shop.

I could be misunderstanding you totally though... I've been up for 20 hours. LOL

Well I feel like a combination of both right now, it looks like I found my answer. My problem is that I am running an inner and outer aluminum lug centric wheels. I could never remove the spacer because the long shanked lug nuts would hit the shoulder of the studs and I only had maybe 3/16 of shank penetrating a much thicker aluminum inner wheel. (whoo)

Solution and industry correct way to fix problem:

I need to run a steel hub centric inner along with my lug centric outer, I need to then wrap the spacer around a certain wheel manufacturer's nut sack and twist. This will make a safer/correct install and will bring everything closer to the brake side of things...

The best part is that this should only cost me about $500 or so, I have become really good at NOTHING...
