WTF? $800 PS2?

Check this out. My little brother put his PS2 on eBay, hoping to get like $40 for it, and at some point it went to $500. And in the last 10 minutes its gone up to nearly $800. Hes really freaking out. I think its kind of funny.

What you guys think? Scam? Lol.

haha, all I can say is just make sure he gets paid before shipping it. He should request they pay via Paypal

With the first one I thought it was someone trying to put a $55 max and accidentally added a zero. But then it just kept going. I warned him not to ship it until the money is in the bank account, and to only accept PayPal.

ebay is a legally binded contract i thought?and a ps3 is not hardly worth $800... at least in my book. i'm happy with my wii

the only time ebay puts their foot down is when they dont get payed. if you dont get payed, or shit doesnt work out, or you get scammed. they dont care, and do nothing about it. now make sure if your brother doesnt get payed he tells them. other wise he will be paying a percentage to ebay for his gross. as far as paypal, they suck too. i have bought thigs from people that have 150 positive feed back. sent money via paypal for several hundred dollars, and never got the item. pay pal doenst do shit. people will list 5k worth of shit, get the money transfered in there account then cancel the debit card an bam gone with 5k. when paying with pay pal always i repeat always make sure you use credit and not debit. debit is a wire transfer and is not covered by the card company. credit is... i learned the hard way. sorry for the novel just trying to help a brother out.
