I'm planning to use the wheels off the truck below on my 2000 CrewCab OBS Dually....
My question is, I know they're thicker than steel but,
is it normal for the rear wheel studs to be too short and need replacing to use Alcoa's?

Unfortunately they are....I wonder if these wheels were originally for another make of truck? When I tried them the studs were'nt long enough to even come flush with the end of the lugnuts. I'm guessing by the responses that none of you have come accross this before...Damn! that SUX!

I solved my problem....the guy truck buying the truck made me an offer including the wheels so, I guess I'll be looking to find some other rims instead....

Those are the alcoa's that iI wanted for my truck but their hard to come by so I stepped up and bought 22"s I'm thinking your rear might be a single wheeled rear end thats why your nuts are short or just a case of little man
