A friend to many of us and one of our club brothers is not doing well in his fight. As many of you know Sparks in the Ozarks is being thrown to help benefit the National Foundation for Transplants which in turn was prepared to help David Swanson (our club brother) when he got a new kidney. Well as of Thursday last week, David is no longer on the transplant list due to no longer being healthy enough to survive or to benefit from the operation.

This is a sad day for everyone who knows him and has watched him fight for the last year to try and get a new kidney. We ask that your prayers be with his family as they struggle to help him enjoy what time he has left and that you continue to live the life and enjoy the sport that he himself has been a part of for 20+ years.

Our show will go on and a new charity may be chosen for us to support. We will continue to update everyone on our website, MySpace page and here on SSM.

If you would like to send him some well wishes or just tell him how you feel his MySpace addy is http://www.myspace.com/david_loenuff

thats gotta suck to hear a doctor say that you will pass away soon. good luck to him, and everyone involved. I am sure everyone will make his life enjoyable until the end. good luck with everything and maybe things will look up soon. doctors arent psychics, i proved this myself, as did a family member of mine. hope is never lost if your heart is set on the positive.
