Daily Drivers with no A/C :IMPORTANT:

I still have the A/C system in mine, it just doesn't work. 100+ degree Texas Panhandle days suck, but it is bearable. Luckily Sonic sells A/C in a cup, they call them Lemon Berry slushes. They are awesome. Did I mention the 35+ MPH winds on those 100 degree days?

i have no a/c in my truck..its kind of a daily..lol.i dont drive it in the rain though. but you could do the vintage air.thats wat i was goin to do.

i built a sheetmetal blower box for my truck and kept the AC and heat with 20's.

My AC never has worked all that great, some s10's seem to eat AC compressors for lunch a few times a year so I'm ditching all that shit for a bodydrop, and i'm gonna run a mojave heater under the dash.

I took out my a/c and heat, because i am running 20's on my Ranger. I live in Phoenix,aka, hell on earth in the summer's. If i can drive it daily @ 115 degrees for 6 months. I think you can surely handle it over in Cali. But i'm gonna do the vintage air myself later this yr. Would have been nice to have the heat though this winter. Good luck w/ whatever you do.

I went with vintage air. Theres actually alot of room behind the dash after you get rid of the factory stuff. This is with a 3" conventional bd.

this is scooter on someone elses accout..........my truck is like cantlooswit22's said, my truck isnt drivin everyday. I just drive it when I want to take it out on a joyride or take it to car shows or go out on a date with it sometimes even when i dont have the blower in, the heat still blows out of the vents when the knob is turn to hot but its not actually turned on, just the air coming from the outside is heated and it somehow comes out of the vents but sometimes the weather sucks down here I eventually too want to do a vintage air kit, just a matter of time and money though.

this is scooter again.............i guess the heater core will still work and function, just wont blow at a high level. but like i said, i have another vehicle to drive, but im debating if i want the ac in for now or not, im thinkin about just goin to a scap yard and look for another blower box for now and not rip it out what yall think?

I ditched the blower/ac/heat on the f1. Gets a bit cold in winter, sucks in summer, but its not so bad. Worst part would have to be rain. I drive it in rain and snow, the windshield fogs up pretty bad and the no wipers doesnt help. The rain-x anti fog stuff for the inside of the windshield works ok.

get in touch w/ Shannon (lowkey on here) or do a search thru the forums (theres a forum about it on here somewhere) he's runnin 20 but is setup for 22's non bd'd w/ factory ac......
