I am having a real problem with the door poppers on my Truck, they were on it when i got it, and they drain the battery when the truck is turned off and then will not open the doors. Is there something wrong with the kit or is it hooked up wrong. And what is a good kit to purchase?

they're motorized? not magnetic? check the relays to see if there's a grounded wire on one of the power wires to the relay

Sounds more like a Battery, or alternator problem. I would get them checked out first. SOmtimes the Solenoids are not big enough to open the door everytime.

The battery is brand new and the alternator is charging properly. I have a way to get the doors open without the poppers right now but it is ghetto. And i if push the door open button after it has not been started for awhile the Control box for the poppers just clicks for like a minute but if the truck was just shut off or running it will open the doors everytime. So i am pretty sure it is killing the battery.

check your relays if you have any. they could be sticking causing your battery to drain. I have the protocol kit and it kills relays about once a month.

IF yor ground on your selenoids isnt grounded properly , it will burn the solenoid up and drain your battery all in one man. you may check that out.
