My wifes van needs new tie rods. It's got 180,000 miles on it. I hate to spend the money to get the "better" ones. I just need this van to last like another 1 1/2 years. I hate buying the cheap parts because pretty soon that's all they will make if that's what people buy. Just need some justification to buy the cheap stuff.
Don't buy the cheap stuff. That's what your Girl drives around. Spend the extra green and make sure she's safe.
But is it gonna break or perform any worse or just wear out sooner? That's what I wonder.(At least one of the things).
And I've always told her I could make it look like an accident.
the cheap tie rods are just refurbushed which means they clean them put a new stud in and peen the bodys mouth tight on the stud. kinda scary.. buy the nice ones you cheap bastard..
How much $ we talkin here?
cheap ad wquality dont go together... if it was your vehicle i could understand it but its your wife make sure she is safe,,,,,,, not harpin but that is how i do it
could you put the cheap parts on my wifes car...lol
Kidding man...spend it...be a safe year and a half.
30 or 40 dollars, but that will pay for the alignment.
This van is only worth like $1500. And the motor is getting tired. I think a lot of the more expensive part is the warranty. I just doubt the cheap parts aren't safe I just don't think they'll last as long.
I think I'm going to see if any are made in America and go with those. At least then I can feel good about spending the extra dough.
