a $20,000 paint job? IMO that's too much. he should've just left the truck in los angeles or santa ana and the paint job would've been free. just add the price of the clearcoat.

anyway... i haven't seen this truck rolling the streets and i live in the city next to huntington beach. personally, i think the wheels suck. "but they're jesse james wheels." guess what, jesse james clowns on mini truckers, saying mini trucks are like mopeds. i don't really see where there's $85K invested. ok, suspension is what, about $1K, paint $20K, wheels/tires $15k, bodywork about $2K, stereo probably $5K.

where's the rest? oh i know, that 8-inch antenna was about $40K.

i agree that for that much invested, you should've gone all the way with bags or a BD, especially with those graphics. wait, maybe he has lambo doors and that's what we forgot to mention.

I have personally seen this truck on Beach Blvd driving early one morning in December, so I know he drives it. It is a nice truck, but is is only worth what you are willing to spend. Whether it's worth $65,000 or $35,000 is up to the individual. Somebody may want it bad enough. I almost bought Last Look when it was on Ebay and I was almost willing to pay 12000 for it because of nostalgia, but decided to spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Oh boy where do I start. To the person that said "Bodydroping is what made minitruckin" what the hell did the Mini Truckin mag do all of those years while they waited for the bodydrop? I will take a good clean well thought out static drop truck over a bolt on S10 bodydropped anyday. I definately agree with John and Jance my next truck will probably not be bodydropped. The sport is going to grow and change, just wait when bodydrops are not where it is at. I know I have a bodydropped truck and I love it BUT there is more to life than a bodydrop.Gets off soap box and back to my work.

Mine was a clean static dropped mini for the longest time, a lot of people bypassed it or looked down on it before it was bagged. Same paint, now it is seen different because of the bags. My truck has always been clean with and without bags. I can appreciate nice trucks, whether or not I can afford them. He may get his money or he may have to negotiate, depending on how bad the buyer wants it. It is like the damn housing prices in SoCal. A 1400sq house can go upward $350,000 whereas in other areas it can go for $80,000. You'll pay if you want it bad enough.

So I guess everyone wants there minitruck to only be worth 50 bucks if they try to sell it or it gets stolen and thats all the insurance company is willing to pay???!!!

Think about it wouldnt it be nice if selling prices for a custom truck would go up and you could get more than 15% return on your investment?

I know when my last truck got stolen and never recovered, the insurance company based my payout on "Fair Market Value" if it wasnt for some high priced vehicles for sale, that I showed the ads to the insurance company, I would have got $10000. Instead I found lots of ads for "real" custom trucks for sale on the internet, and after a couple months they decided to give me $22000.

NO! thanx for reading this crap don't you feel dumber now.......
