Static Drop (I know, "What's That?")

I have a '98 Isuzu Hombre (extended cab) that I drive every day that I plan on putting a static drop. I don't want to spend more than a few hundred bucks on parts, so please don't try to talk me into bagging it (I am weak about that stuff and I will give in to your encouraging words). I was thinking of a 3"-3" drop with drop spindles/springs in the front and lowering leaf springs in the back. I want to keep as good of a ride as I can, so does this sound like a good route or is there a better way of doing it?

Well that aint a static drop static drop is pulling the spings adn monoleafing the rear and rolling on bump stops. if i were you and drive it daily id go with a 4/6 drop but i think that around 500 or so form liek belltech. if you want cheap cut a copuple coils outta you springs and buy some 20 dollar lowering blocks.

I love the old days when I had a static drop. My 85 blazer rode like crap but i loved it. If you want the ride spend the money on bell tech or bag it

I agree with josh for "cheap".But you got a good plan yourself. Your going to spend about $500 though with your plan. And also lets not forget you'll also need drop shocks when you drop 3" or more. SOOOOOOO you might as well go ahead and bag it. And then

I always thought a static drop meant that bitch was slammed, lowered real hard with no adjustability.

No a static drop is a drop that is not adjustable.

I been in minitruckin since the early 90s and static drops are non-adjustable some are slamed and some aren't *NO REGRETS*
