bump stop??

where do they go..correct me if im wrong but bump stops are for stop your car from going down any more bc say i blow a line while im drivin my cars not gunna keep going if i put in bump stop i should stay up a little higher right?

Most people dont use bump stops with air because they lay it out on the ground but to answer your questiom bump stops are used to limit suspension travel.And soften the bottoming out.

I have not had bump stops in a long time. They will keep you from totaly bottoming out if you have airline failure. But on the same note, they will not let you lay the car down as low as possible, which is what mst of us are after.
